My cousin from Delhi recently came down so i was pretty much hanging out with him and his wife. The weekend was pretty hectic especially when Arsenal lost against Fulham which was a very irritating and confusing game.Cant really talk about the game much cause i didnt really watch much of it since i was at a bar getting drunk that night.
Just finished and uploaded my latest artwork which i got inspired after having some awesome greens with some friends and family during the weekend. What a high mann…good stuff XD
Work’s been treating me allright and im looking forward to an extended weekend cause of the Malaysian Independence day celebrations which falls on the 31st of August,Sunday so everyone gets Monday off as well…Wohooo getting drunk again this weekend:)
This morning Arsenal played FC Twente in the Champions League qualifiers where they crushed the Dutch side 4-0 with goals from Nasri,Gallas,Walcott and Bendtner.

Yesterday was a boring day at work and i was highly anticipating when the clock would strike 6.Time does go slower when you keep staring at your watch or clock.I started trying various ways to pass the time;mainly facebooking, chatting ect.
I was really looking forward to going home and getting some rest after a long tiring day at work,so i packed my stuff up at around 5.45 and sat at my desk and waited. At 6 i left the college, got into my car and it started to rain.As i got out of the car park and drove towards the highway the rain started getting heavier so i had to slow down abit but still i just couldnt wait to get home and relax. As expected when i got on to the highway it was bloody jammed and the rain made things worst.I thought to myself “oh well, ill still get home by 6.45″.So i kept driving and i suddenly realised i missed my exit and was headed out of the city.
This was when panic hit…Cars were zooming past me left and right and i was wondering where the hell i should go.I saw a signboard saying KL so i quickly cut to the left and took the exit.It brought me to an area ive never been to ever so i just kept going straight. This was when i realised i was low on fuel so i stopped at a station, checked my wallet and realised i had no money. My ATM card was rendered useless when i realised the petrol stations in this area werent equipped with ATM machines yet.So i left the station in a rush nearly getting hit by a bus….
I kept going straight and i reached a toll gate so i started searching around the car for money,i needed about RM 1.30 .I managed to find a dollar under my seat and another 30 cents in my coin box,i asked the lady at the toll booth how i can get back to Ampang(this is where i live) and she said just U-Turn and go back the other way which i did. After the U-Turn i noticed two signs saying Kajang and Kuala Lumpur. So i took the Kuala Lumpur route and i ended up back at the road after the toll booth and before the U-Turn.Hesitant to take a trip to Kajang i decided to go straight and take a gamble instead of the useless U-Turn.
Straight ahead i could see a massive jam and i was in a slow crawl in the middle of nowhere and in the pouring rain…The time was about 6.45 and i kept regretting why the hell i missed the damn exit. After awhile the rain subsided and the traffic started moving slightly i decided to save the last few drops of petrol i had by opening the window.I finally realised where i was because i used to follow my dad in the mornings when he used to send me to college.I was on one of the highest traffic density roads in KL during rush hour, with very little petrol and a bad sense of direction.
As i looked around i realised how awesome KL was with its diverse architecture and funny road names and crazy drivers and crazy pedestrians. It hit me right in the face that i keep wanting to leave and move to another country but come to think of it this is pretty much a perfect place for me…I grew up here,I’ve studied here,I’ve fallen in love here,I’ve worked here,I’ve gotten drunk here and I’ve had so many adventures here that i cant explain on this blog post.
Finally i found a petrol station that had an ATM machine and i pumped enough fuel to get home and for the next day.I kept thinking to myself how i take everything about this city for granted and how this one incident really made me look forward to spending many years to come in this beautiful city.True one day i might leave but i really would like to keep coming back to my home just to keep an eye on how great it’s developing and reliving the experiences I’ve had here with friends and family.
Happy 51st Independence Day Malaysia

Arsenal beat WBA on saturday in the opening fixture of the EPL with one goal. The goal was scored by debutant Samir Nasri in the 4th minute as Denilson cut back a brilliant pass in the penalty box which Nasri put in with ease.
Arsenal were pretty much quiet after that but they did have some great chances especially when Robin Van Persie came in for Bendtner during the second half. The defense was decent but it lacked the confidence and timing of Kolo Toure who was on the bench and came on in the second half.Captian William Gallas looked abit rusty and in need of some match fitness but overall he commanded the game well.Fans around were definatly expecting more goals especially with a new advert campaign “More Goals Please” going around the EPL.
My final thought is Arsenal definitely need one more signing to bolster up the Midfield.Denilson is a great player but he needs a lot of time to progress and develop but someone with a good amount of experience would be great to slot in the center.A hard tackling, determined, hard working defensive midfield general would be a great addition to partner Cesc Fabregas or any other young midfielder at Arsenal.I really don’t expect Wenger to splash out a large some of cash on one big name player and that is a great policy.

The EPL/BPL kicks off again this weekend after a long hiatus. The transfer window saw many players and coaches move around from one team to another and we’ll find out soon enough how everyone compares in this year long football tournament.
The top 4 will look to topple down one another as the others try and break the common top 4 trend.Likely candidates who actually have a chance are Manchester City,Aston Villa,Everton and unfortunatly Totenham. The new comers this season are Hull City,Stoke City and West Brom will look to cement their place in the EPL as they fight relegation.
This weekend Arsenal play West Brom at home,Man utd play Newcastle away,Liverpool taking on Sunderland away and Chelsea play Portsmouth at home.
So all football fans out there just stick with you’re TV’s this weekend and enjoy the greatest game on earth.

An emerging trend on the internet seems to be Flash Games. These lightweight but fun and addictive games help when your stuck in the office or bored at home or class. My favorites have been the one’s in the Puzzle Adventure genre.A great site for Flash games would be Newgrounds;a heaven for Flash developers and animators to showcase their talents on the web.
Today i revisited 2 Flash puzzle adventure game which was quite famous sometime back.HapLand and its sequel Hapland2 are puzzle games where you have an environment which you can interact with in order to solve them.Almost everything you see is clickable and has a purpose. In order to complete them you need to do them step by step. You may either find yourself restarting it again and again just to get it right, playing around with the environment for fun while you think to yourself how cool it looks or, like me you would go and get a walkthrough just so you can get fulfilled.
So for those of you that are bored at work just like me do take a look at this old gem of a game and try the latest Hapland3 which ill be checking out soon….

Well today’s my second day on Word Press.I decided to go with the Benevolence theme by Theron Parlin and slowly build on it.One thing id have to say is that Word Press is definatly cooler and cleaner looking compared to blogspot/blogger but im having abit of trouble with the widgets here.Been trying to add an image as well as some html/JavaScript to my sidebar but its proving to be a really tough but blogspot made it so easy.
Ive got my orientation currently going on and i start teaching Web Design and Web Technologies next week to a class of degree students.Im really looking forward to it cause it will be my first time teaching.Anyways im off to orientation….Will meddle around with Word Press more later.

After careful consideration and reading some interesting information regarding Word Press I’ve finally decided to migrate to the world of Word Press. My old blog will probably just float around and die in cyberspace as i start a transition to Word Press.
I’m hoping to get to know a few other Word Press users to gain their insight on how exactly this system works. So if you have some information to share do pass it along.I quite like the whole design and layout of the Word Press interface but I’m still getting familiarized with the theme styles because I’m keen on making one of my own for this blog.
Well for those of you that havent been following me on TheTribalTech let me introduce myself. My name is Harsha Rao and i live in Malaysia.Im pretty much a washed up graphic designer who’s trying to get back his inspiration and find out the meanings of life.Im also an Arsenal(A Football/Soccer team in London) fan and i work as a Graphic Design lecturer at a university here in Malaysia.
