A tribute to Tomohiro Nishikado masterpiece.
This idea got stuck in my head ever since i started revisiting some Flash space Shooters and remakes of Space Invaders.Finally today i found the time to work on it and this is what i have.I do quite like it but thats just my opinion 
Holidays start on Wednesday and i might be going for a vacation to Langkawi on Friday.Hopefully that works out so atleast i can get some good R and R.

Well its Sunday night and its back to work for me tomorrow.Was a pretty fast paced and eventful weekend for me which started off with a bbq and booze party at a friends place.It was basically to celebrate my friends arm cast removal which he had to put on a month back when he was chased by a dog,fell down and fractured his arm after drinking with us.Yeah we all sound like alcoholics but its the weekend:)Also i had to help a few other friends with something and i witnessed something that not many people would witness in their entire life.I cant exactly say what it was but it sure does make you change your perspectives of life when you see it with your own eyes right in front of you.
Got a simple freelance project done for Unique Zone where i created the front page splash animation.I’m starting to enjoy doing freelance projects again and i may just start looking for more of these contracts.
Designed something on Saturday morning as i had to wake up early to help my mom with some stuff.This new piece is called iThink…

Arsenal beat Blackburn 4-0 on Saturday as Adebayor scored a Hat-Trick and Robin Van Persie scored the first.Well done Gunners:)Looking forward to more football this weekend as the Champions League kicks off with Arsenal playing Dynamo Kyiv.
So anyways i’m off to bed now,i’ve got a 8.30 class in the morning and ive gotta be up early.Gnite everyone…

Theo Walcott of Arsenal scored his first hat-trick for England as they beat Croatia 4-1.Now normally i dont really follow international football but this is an amazing feat for a guy who’s hated by almost every other England international player…maybe they’re all just jealous cause he plays for the Arsenal.
Anyways Walcott is developing into a really good player for Arsenal as well as England and was mistreated by people like Gerrard and Rooney when he was included in the World Cup squad but never played.The 19 year now has shown what he is capable of and will definately help his country try and qualify for the next world cup.

Was listening to a lot of MJ music on the weekend and i realized how much i used to like the song Thriller.Back then it had some cutting edge sound effects and an amazing video.The part that used to always rock was one of the verses where a guy spoke in a deep voice,almost chanting and this is what he said…

Last night us Hindu’s celebrated an annual festival that honours Ganesha for ten days, starting on Ganesh Chaturthi.The festival usually falls sometime between 20 August and 15 September and to mark this a bright Chariot traveled from a temple near out house and back as devotee’s walked along with it and gave various offerings.
This year i was forced to walk with it to the temple with some friends of mine but it turned out to be a really great experience which i intend to relive next year as well.The chariot itself is magnificantly decorated and lit up with beautiful lights.

Google has released their new brainchild;the open source browser called Chrome.Named after its Chromium styled look,this browser is going to raise the bar and give the competition a run for their money.With the release of the new browser,Google also released comic based learning material related to the technologies involved in the development of this new aged browser.
This new browser is said to be able to handle javascript much better and faster than its competitors based on the Sunspider JavaScript Benchmark tool test.
Some key features include:
Blacklists
Sandboxing
Plugins
And here’s the best part….The browser will have its own task manager similar to Windows CTRL+ALT+DEL which can be used to see how much memory a site is using,downloading the most bytes as well as the one’s trying to abuse your PC.
So its already released as a beta so do check it out and tell me what you think.I for one am definitely installing it tonight…
